Not So Nice Mail

In the Kingdom of Mormonia the most prized personal quality is being "nice". To be "not so nice" towards others is reserved for relating to apostates and those who have no potential of becoming a Mormon. Believe it or not, some "not so nice" emailers actually have a change of mind and heart and do come to reason and reality. Read all about them at "Not So Nice Surprises". I don't know about any of the encounters you had with President Packer, but you should not misquote people, especially someone who speaks the word of God. Are you LDS, or used to be? Even if you have found someone to be a little formal or a little up-tight where they might not be the friendliest people in the world, it still means that they could be one of the most righteous on the world today AKA one of the 12 apostles. It's one thing if you don't agree with the church's teachings, but you might as well keep it to yourself and stop trying to tear others down. I as well as thousands of others have the up most respect for President Packer and believe his teachings. If you do not feel the same, which seems obvious, please have the dignity to spare the rest of the world of your false accusations. Thank you.

I wish that there wasnt so much hatred in this world, that we live in. It really is disheartening to see people persacute any one religion for doing what they believe to be right or true. There is alot more to this religion than portrayed on this site and the basis is not mitt nor joseph smith it is christ and his atoning sacrifice that he made for each and every one of us. It is up to all uf us to find him and seek his forgiveness for our own imperfections and to try walk in a straight path as he did so perfectly. It is my humble thought and prayer that people may choose to worship christ our savior the way they feel is right and not be persecuted for it in such a hostile and distasteful way.

Wow...this site is great!!! I wish I had the spare time to make a cool site like this. So well thought out. EXTREMELY intellectual. Probably one of the smartest and witty sites I've ever seen. The maker must be very proud. (Must have TONS of time on his hand to create something that accomplishes absolutely nothing.) Another disatisfied Ex-Mormon that couldn't cut it as a member of the Lord's church and now has to try and share his misery the best way he can. What does your site have...like a total of 10 hits since it's inception? Using the internet as your medium is working well for you. Keep up the great work.

You aren't a very happy person are you? - anon - 12/21/2007

OH MY GOSH!! I cannot believe you have nothing better to do than rag on BYU and the LDS church. This is ridiculous! If you don't like BYU and it's policies it is as simple as not going there. You should have known when you got there what the rules were. All of you are just bitter, gutless, scum. I am ashamed that this site even exists.

Oh and if I haven't put this point across clear enough, let me say it again. BYU is an amazing University and it is a shame that you just want to bring it down for an attempt to pull yourself up. This is a vile site and I hope it gets shut down immedietly

Idiots - 12/19/2007

I can't say how disappointed I am that I found your website. The world already has enough of this. Why don't all you anti-LDS websites 'merge' (http://www.salamandersociety.com/news/051216.html) and make it easier for people seeking reasons to forget the commandments, sleep in sunday morning, or not pay their tithing find this stuff? Try that one, you seem to have enough people working on this.

people are sick, demented perverts...and mark my words, one day you will surely have to stand before The Almighty and suffer the consequences of the filth, lies, and mockery of which you are guilty.

Ever wonder why only Latter Day Saints have to suffer this intolerable meandering, yet other religions are left alone and ignored as to their belifes? It is because Satan is desperate to slow down or stop the progress of all that the Mormon religion stands for..thus he uses low life garbage like you to do his work. - 08/15/2007 - K D S

I was looking for coloring pages when i came upon yours. I am a mormon and i was very sad that you would make fun of my beliefs ,I would never do that to any relegion. I feel sorry for you, and I love you any way and so dose the father in Heaven. - 08/13/2007 - samyjo

Salt Lake City is the main headquarters of the saints. Joseph Smith prophesied that the saints would someday fill the rockies. And if that isn't enough, listen to the BIBLE: "And it shall come to pass in the LAST DAYS, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be extablished in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above all hills; and all nations shall flow unto it." Isaiah 2:2 How could it be that the bible prophesies of the church of God being established in the mountain tops?! Even the Salt Lake Valley! How is it that you cannot be convinced by even the quotes of the bible written thousands of years ago can connect to the church of jesus christ of latter-days saints in the present time? Please consider! - 08/01/2007 - Chaz

I'm a Mormon, or perhaps more appropriately a Jack-Mormon. I drink, have tattoos and gay friends and do lots of other non-Mormony stuff but I still consider myself a Mormon. I found a lot of this stuff funny, but was pretty offended when I started reading the comments section to see all of the HATE and INTOLERENCE being practiced here. Very sad. The saints have had enough crap from people like you! We have since the church was organized! The afflictions will always be there for us, that's what the lord said and whatuoa know! This site sure fullfuls that one! You know, you guys really only give us more faith that we will have afflictions. You give us more confidence in the church and the truthfullness. You give us more chances to bear our testimonies! Although we will continue to plead you to stop these hurtful comments, we still guess that things will get worse cuz thats what happens when the last days close in on us. You make alot of people laugh and ridicule at our religion, but you really hurt us! Please consider our feelings! - 07/28/2007 - Chaz

Wow... what a bunch of whiney jerks! Coming from the biggest, mosy liberal, blame someone else, welfare state in the US I know BS when I hear it. Long live BYU and down with the lies herein! - 07/27/2007 - Alan from NYC

Repent. - 07/26/2007 - anon

I think that whoever posted this site should take a look at all the bad mouthing that having a comment box is allowing, as a brand new member of the church I'm horrified at the terrible things people have posted about such a wonderful church that focuses so fully on the family. From my experience people who would say such things are people who are too selfish to realize what wonderful gifts the church and the family really are. Of course it takes a moticum of maturity to realize that. To the person who originally put up this site I'm sure you had wonderful intentions, however, I think that because of a lack of maturity from people you ought to remove the option to make comments. - 07/24/2007 - Tiffany

Your stupid! Most of what you say are lies and is made up! Get a life, and get the facts right! - 07/23/2007 - Crystal

I went to the temple the other day and realized you guys on this site are a bunch of losers! The church is true no matter what you say or do. - 07/17/2007 - Islamsucks

I used to live in Salt Lake City and know a little bit about the mormons, although I'm not one. This website is neither clever, nor funny; it's completely stupid. I can't imagine how many hours of work this took and what a useless outcome! I sent this link to a mormon friend of mine who laughed at how bitter and lame the creator of this site must be. All I can say is WOW! - 07/17/2007 - Non-mormon's opinion (probably active LDS posing as non-Mormon)

I find it interesting that you have so much time on your hands to study and find out this info and put your own opinion on it. (I found your website by mistake and did not have time to read everything) You bring true (through this site)a statement that a general authority of the church has said. It goes something like this: Many people can leave the church, but they can't leave the church alone. - 07/17/2007 - happy member

WHAUU!!! tHIS IS GOOD STUFF TO READ COZ SOMETIMES I DONT HAVE MUCH WORK TO DO OTHER THAN THINK ABOUT THE ANTI MORMONS.I HAVE SOME QUIZES THOUGH THAT I WOULD LIKE TO ASK TO ANY OF YOU WHO HAS ALL THIS TIME TO POST "GOOD" MESSAGES HERE.WHY DO YOU REALLY CARE ABOUT PEOPLE'S CHOICES OF RELIGION?ARENT YOU FREE TO CHOOSE?.ANYWAY WHENEVER I READ THIS MY TESTMONY OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST AS TAUGHT IN THE MORMON CHURCH GROWS COZ I REMEMBER WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES,THAT WE SHALL BE HATED OF MEN,SO THAT SOUNDS FAMILIAR. I WANTED TO SAY SOMETHING TO YOU BUT I THINK IT WILL SOUND ANTI YOU,IMEAN ANTI-ANTI MORMON AND THATS AGAIST THE TEACHINGS OF OUR LIVING PROPHET WHO RECEIVES REVELATION FROM OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, HE TOLD US NOT TO BE ANT YOU SO GUYS KEEP IT UP, I AM A MORMON FOR LIFE,AND THE CHURCH IS GROWING NOT ONLY IN NUMBER OF SISTERS AND BROTHERS WHO ARE JOINING, BUT ALSO GROWING SPIRITUALLY. MAY GOD ALMIGHT BLESS YOU FOR THE GOOD WORK.

- 07/17/2007 - PETER, AMORMON FOR GOOD

I am an active member of the Church. I appreciate the views of those former members of the church. My only question is where do you go to find doctrines that are only taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints? Doctrines such as, we are spirit children of heavenly parents, eternal families, priesthood authority, pre-existence, apostasy, etc?

Is there another church that teaches I can remain with my wife and children as a family throughout eternity? If so, where is it? Is there a church that teaches we existed before we came to earth, consistent with the both the Old and New Testaments? In short, if the Church is not true, where have you found your TRUTH.

No doubt polygamy is a tough doctrine. But, what about Abraham, a revered prophet to Jew, Christian and Muslim alike? Blacks and the priesthood is another tough one. But, the evidence is overwhelming that Joseph Smith was not a racist. How presumptuous to reject a doctrine just because it doesn't seem right. Abraham is again a perfect example. Commanded to sacrifice his son Isaac was against everything he knew to be right? But, in the end, it was accounted to him for righteousness.

As for the Book of Mormon, its origins have to be supernatural. No one has ever made a sensible or convincing argument that Joseph Smith came up with that book all on his own. The only plausible argument is that Joseph was inspired by Satan. Yet, why would Satan inspire someone to write a book whose sole purpose is to testify to Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ.

Critics of the Church attack its history. History of course is always subject to manipulation (a major criticism of the Church). Yet Christ taught "by their fruits, ye shall know them." So, its fruits vs. roots. In my experience, those who faithfully follow the doctrine of the Church and its General Authorities are happy, self-actualized individuals with a greater sense of purpose than those who don't. There are always exceptions to the rule and many people have failed miserably in honoring their baptismal and temple covenants.

Yet, the doctrines found in the Church are what testify of its truthfulness. If you have found a better mouse trap, let me know. I doubt it, because there is never any mention in these anti-mormon web sites of what is better than the Church's teachings - only that people have left to find their own way.

The Bible teaches unequivocally that Christ formed a church for the purpose of bringing all into the unity of faith and for the perfecting of the saints. For all who have abandoned their faith, tell me, which Church is Christ's, and why do you think so? - 07/17/2007 - David

whoever put this thing together has too much spare time, and is obviously in denial about their beliefs, or else this piece of crap writing wouldnt be so long and evil. enjoy your trip to hell you reject! - 07/16/2007 - TBM

Bias and one sided. Although funny, there is a definate leaning in your writings. - 7/15/2007 - TC

Poor of you, I can't judge you, The Lord will do it. It's a shame to waste the time in things like these, you don't have the minimal idea about the Lord things and His gospel means.and its clear, yo have mental issues, just sick people can play in this way with the sacred convenants.and yeah, there's no other..you're sick men!! - 07/11/2007 - Miriam from Mexico

Some real anger issues with Mormons, huh? - 07/11/2007 - toobad

The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's only True Church on the Whole face of the earth. Concerning the word of wisdom - use your brain; common sense will tell you that these things are not good for your body. Oh and Joseph was a True Prphet and we have a Prophet on the Earth right now too, IM sure ypur familiar . - 07/10/2007 - anon

I discovered the truth that Mormonismn is full of half truths, inconsisitencies and false doctrines too, but really, I mean come on guys, this site is full of filth, and ridiculous. If you feel you've discovered the truth, why be so bitter and hateful, you're not going to convince any other mormons that they're deceived by the immature, pointless, garbage that's posted on this page. My impression of it is that alot of people who posted on this have not just left mormonism, but they have also given up any moral good that they once had to stoop to such lows as some of the poems written. Sure it hurts to know you've been misled and deceived, but mostly its because you depended on your family and friends, who most likely were well-meaning in their actions. Its sad to see but many people also give up on God too, I didn't, because I know there is something greater out there than all of us. I hope the author will consider removing offensive material on this site and prevent more of it being posted by having a higher moral standard than the juvenile content above. Sincerely - From an Ex Mormon - 07/08/2007 - From an Ex-Mormon

If any of you lack of wisdom let him ask of God james 1:5 Why would people take two years out of there lifes or 10% of what they earn? Because we beleive so strongly that it's right!!! And it blesses us so much! How can you NOT beleive in God? Evolution? K well then how did the monkies get here? How did the world get here? This world was clearly molded by the hand of a master craftsman! but i guess i'm just blessed that i was born in the church..You don't have to beleive it but the least you can do is respect it. - 07/03/2007 - anon

Wow, disgusting. Its sad and pathetic that some have devoted their obviously sad and meaningless lives to making fun and supposedly "exposing" the rituals of something very sacred to people. While we're at it, why don't we mock the practice of circumcision? There's no reason for me to get angry, I just have an overwhelming sense of pity for all those who find sense in this. - 06/25/2007 - Kaela

Wow, you are a hateful bunch of idiots. And this DNA thing is extremely bogus considering that Anthropologists are finding that people in one area don't always have similar DNA. They find that it's quite common for a Kenyon to have more in common DNA-wise with an albino Dutchman than with his close neighbor. I know I'll probably have to repent for saying this, but you fuckers need to pull your heads out of your asses, and take a look at things without this deep bias, because its obviously fucking up your findings. - 06/24/2007 - olsenr3@unr.nevada.edu name: RC

I'm A Mormom,I have non mormon friends, they respect me and my beliefs, they tell me all the time about how good a person i am, and how much the mormon church has done for me. for all that i've read on this blog. all there is, is people complaing saying, that they had no choice, no freedoms, and how glad they are to not be in the church anymore. the truth is they always had freedom, no one can make you do anything, no one can make choices for you, that is unless you allow them to. even if this church is not true, i've made good friends, i learned how to live clean, how to treat people, and lastly how to accept and love each other. I not telling people what to do, but asking them, look back on your past and the time you spent in the church, think about what what your life would be like if you diddn't know. i've tried not going to church, but i look back and it was just family fights and pain. now that it's back im my life me and my family are much happier. im only 17 years old and i love my church thank you for reading - 06/06/2007 - oggy

Quoted from this site - Mormonism is just a juicy target for parody and sarcasm.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

The continual proactive movement against the church will prove to be your downfall and your unhappiness, because it is mockery ultimately toward the Lord. I hope you can listen to the best part of you and turn your life toward Christ.

I am not stunned by this nonsense. It very much makes sense to me that things like this will continue to flourish. If by this group, then fine. - 06/05/2007 - anon

I hope these efforts against the lds church won't continue from this group.

But if you decide to continue, according to your own will, then that is your choice. It only speaks to the growing hatred and persecution against the Lord's church, which was prophesied by Christ himself. It must come from somewhere and perpetuating it only fulfills the prophetic words of the Lord.

You may not believe this scripture but I'm sure you can sense the truth in them.

"He is aware, he is left unto himself, to kick against the pricks, to persecute the saints and to fight against God."

I honestly hope for a turn around as the likes of Paul, where this vigor and energy can be turned to righteousness and not hopelessly trying to break something down what will never fall. - 06/05/2007 - anon

All that I have to say is that I am so very sad after reading this website. I am completely astounded at the lack of true knowledge about our church that you have. I have been a member all my life and have been told many times to question, to search, to really think and figure out if what I have been taught is right. And the only conclusion that I have ever come to is that without a doubt I KNOW that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. And I know that everything that has been taught, is being taught, and will continue to be taught is true. I know that Christ is merciful, and that he loves us all, even those who do everything in their power to tear down HIS CHURCH. And that he is very sad when he sees his brothers and sisters (you all), which he died for, and atoned for their sins tearing down their only way back to him. I know that everything that we believe is true and that whenever I think of all of you throwing away your life tearing down something that you dont even understand or dont even spend the time or take the initiative to study all I do is feel pity for you. And lastly what did we ever do to you, all that the Latter Day Saints have ever done for the world has been good, and we have never ever tried to take down other religions. In my entire life I have never heard one word of malice spoken about another church and yet all you do is tear us down. So all that I have to say is that before you start tearing down someone else's beliefs get the facts straight and think to yourselves, even if we do believe in things that you dont understand what are we hurting? If anything all we are doing is making the world a better place with our love and generosity, and the only reason that we do missionary work is to share the love and great feelings that we feel as we do what is right...in the ONE TRUE CHURCH...so please if you have issues with us first get your facts straight then talk to us, dont bash us behind our backs. - 06/04/2007 - Understandably sad...

You are such a bad person at writting bad things about the church, I mean, we are not mean to you, and i´m sure that the church wiil ever hurt you - 06/03/2007 - anon

Hey, I just think that you pretty much have no life if you have enough time to create an entire web page bashing Mormons. I mean its someones belief and yes you have your right to freedom of speech, but when you starting telling other people they are lying you start to offend people. So maybe you should go get a life that doesn't involve others peoples beliefs.

The only reason people bash Mormons is because they have no idea what they are talking about and they are just afraid to try something new. Here's an idea, READ THE BOOK OF MORMON!! its really good and true. i dare you. - 05/24/2007 - A Mormon

You have WAY too much time on your hands. This is a pathetic excuse for a website.

You have the most ignorant, bigoted ideas that I've ever seen. - 05/22/2007 - Christian New York, NY

I just cant understand why anyone would make a mock of anothers religion especially up to the point of making a website. Doesn't this sort of proves the Mormons as being right. It is getting attacked on every brow. Satan only attacks that which will help men progress to godhood. I fear he is using you guys to bring about his disire to make all men miserable, just like him. Repent of your wrong deeds and reconcile with Heavenly Father. Belive me, He will pardon any wrong, no matter how servere or little it may seem. That I know to be true. - 05/22/2007 - 205509306@ukzn.ac.za

There have always been apostates, and it is reasonable to expect there will always continue to be apostates. The truth of gospel is not changed because an individual changes how he or she chooses to view the gospel. Bitterness and judging the intentions and actions of others must be a heavy burden to be laden with. - 05/22/2007 - jcg

Wow! What a disgruntled group of people. Based off the comments, you are all very young and immature, lost and confused, or angry. Whatever it is, I hope that your issues with the PB are not mirrored in your faith in Jesus Christ. What I know for sure is that one day, you will be cursed by the negative words that you have spoken. More importantly, you will be chastized for your disobedience. Remember, free agency we are all granted, but the control of the consequences we are not.

I am not sure what would make you discuss something like this in this manner for the public to see, but I only hope that conviction will settled in and repentance will follow.

God bless you, - 07/20/2007 - Ra

I am LDS too as some of you have been or are or maybe have heard about. And i am not perfect i have done things with boys i have drank coffee i have drank alcohol i have done alot in my life. I realized that my life wasn't going anywhere all i could think about was where the next party was. I know that there is a God. I know that He loves us and because i know that there is a God i know that he does help give us peace just like the Bible says. I have felt it. I decided to give up these things not because i was having fun and the church 'forced' me to. the mormon church didn't at all. I decided to not drink coffee because it is bad for my heart, my teeth, and my breath haha... and i decided not to drink alcohol because i have a family of alcoholics and i've seen what terrible things can happen from that. I decided to be 'clean' and refrain from sexual activity because i was tired of guys only likeing me for that reason. I learned the hard way that the 'guidelines' the LDS church has are just to make our lives easier healthier and happier in the long run. the church does not preach that we should judge others. I know some LDS people who do judge and that is aweful but who am i to point fingers when i have so many faults. The church is true but sometimes people are not because no one is perfect. I feel like alot of people have become offended because of what people have said and use it as reason to leave the church. and that is their choice. I know that if they truly pray and ask the one who created us all, if the church is true He will answer their prayers as long as their mind and hearts are open. I have been to so many different churches and i have prayed so many times. I am so happy to now know of the peace which christ and this gospel can bring. I'm not trying to sound all 'sunday schoolish' i just really want you to know that you ARE loved. and that just like Christ sat with the publicans and sinners in order to try to make a difference in their lives he has been with me and has given me peace and love. He will do the same for you. I am sorry that somewhere along the line someone has offended you. i wish i could help ease that pain or anger. I love my Savior. - 07/18/2007 - Lara

Man, there's a lot of material here for a subject so innocuous as how people practice their religion.

I live in Amish country in central PA and we've got people here wearing their weirdness out in public every day, from the Amish and Mennonites to the Church of the Brethren and the garden variety Penn Dutch Quakers.

But try as I might, I can't find any anti-Amish sites on the web. You guys might want to consider branching out. - 05/21/2007 - betterthingstodo

I just don't understand you. The church is such a beautiful thing. We do our best to serve and help others, of all faiths, ethnicity, gender etc. We don't go around bashing others beliefs. I really just don't get how you can say such things.

You are obviously going through some sort of rough time. Whatever it is can be fixed through the power of the Lord, if you let him into your life. I've been to all those places pictured in your site, and they are wonderful and spiritual places, that are full of a rich history.

If the church wasn't true, you wouldn't be making comments like this about it. Where the greater good stands, so stands the greater evil.

I hope that someday you will return to the church. I think you will find that a very heavy and dark weight is lifted from you. The whole world becomes lighter, and easier to live in and not of. A feeling of the most joyous peace comes about you and lingers. It's a feeling I wish on everyone. Especially my enemies, and people who have fallen from the church.

I don't know what you've gone through, and only God can judge you, so I will not say you're a bad person, because maybe you aren't, but your page is. It is rude, slang and very unprofessional. I don't think you did much research for it, because it's very incorrect.

"If men do not comprehend the character of God, they do not comprehend themselves." ( History of the Church, 6:303. )

You do not comprehend God, or yourself, and I fear the day you must meet your Father and Brother. Your spirit is so special to God, and I'm sure the heavens will weep mightily for you, and all who have fallen. I do hope you can come back. My heart is with you, and so can the Holy spirit be with you. God Bless you. I will pray for you. - 05/21/2007 - modbod_yumalicous

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Jesus Christ's true Church. I am not ashamed to admit that I am LDS. I have received personal revelation of the truthfulness of it. I don't just sit back and believe what I'm told. I have never been once to do so. I know that this church is true, because I have read and learned the doctrine and asked God in the name of Christ if these things are not true. The spirit of peace has come upon me. There is no one that can shake me from this church. I would willingly give my life for it.

Joseph Smith once said:

"I see no faults in the Church, and therefore let me be resurrected with the Saints, whether I ascend to heaven or descend to hell, or go to any other place. And if we go to hell, we will turn the devils out of doors and make a heaven of it."

This is my view also. I will follow the saints till death and ever after for eternity.

If I am persecuted or killed or hated it is all well.I know the truth and I will spread it as widely as I can while I am alive upon this earth.

The Savior said, . . . "Blessed are ye when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake; rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so persecuted they the Prophets which were before you."

I probably won't have to die for this church, but whatever happens I know that God lives! The LDS Church is true! Satan is trying so hard to deceive you. He only has as much power over you as let him have. Refuse to give power to him! Let go of your hate for this wonderful church! Push Satan out of your lives! He is only jealous of you because you have a body. Having a body means that you have power over him! Don't give it up. Be as good as you can be!

I will conclude with something Joseph Smith said:

"So it was with me. I had actually seen a light, and in the midst of that light I saw two Personages, and they did in reality speak to me; and though I was hated and persecuted for saying that I had seen a vision, yet it was true; and while they were persecuting me, reviling me, and speaking all manner of evil against me falsely for so saying, I was led to say in my heart: Why persecute me for telling the truth? I have actually seen a vision; and who am I that I can withstand God, or why does the world think to make me deny what I have actually seen? For I had seen a vision; I knew it, and I knew that God knew it, and I could not deny it, neither dared I do it; at least I knew that by so doing I would offend God, and come under condemnation." - 05/20/2007 - Annalyn

You know, I think it very interesting that people waste so much time making up lies about a religion they hate. I know quite a few people who have actually become converted because of stuff like this. Their reasoning is: If Satan is spending so much time stirring up anger and hatred and commotion for one religion, there must be something good in it for me.

I agree. If Satan is spending so much effort to bring down the LDS people, then there must be something truly wonderful about it. Why else would he help people in putting up sites like this?

Thanks for strengthening my testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!

These lies only prove that the Mormon's are right. Even a Catholic Pope once said that if the Catholic Church isn't true, than the LDS church is. - 05/20/2007 - anon

Wow. There is a lot of human decency in the world. None of which can be found authored by the creators of this page. I can laugh at myself as a mormon alot, carrots in green jello, etc. But to do THIS for humor.... and I didn't even read it all. Even if it's legal, legality does not mean that it is right. - 05/19/2007 - Unbelievable

You probably aren't interested in the comments that knock this website, but, judging by the information you know, you were or are a mormon yourself and seeing that you know so much about endowments, you most likely went through the temple yourself. Let's just say that the mormons are fanatics and that everything they believe in is wrong. Even though it might all be wrong, you still made covenants with God that you have broken. You think that God's not gonna care since all of it is false, but, you still made a commitment in your own heart to God and He looks at that as very serious if you break that commitment no matter what it is. You've got alot to answer for! But I guess you could just take the easier route and say that God doesn't exist anymore...that'll help! Oh and get a life!!! - 05/18/2007 - CJ

Yeah you guys are really immature - making fun of other people's religions - not cool. I'm not offended but I just feel bad for you. what a waste of time....I didn't even take the time to look at this whole page...not even accurate - if you really want to know about us "Mormons" then come to church and talk to the missionaries or a member or go to www.lds.org.

Don't talk to an apostate becuase of course they will only say bad things that aren't true. and don't go to an online site that is run by non-LDS people because they most likely hate the church too and are spreading lies/rumors. What do you have against LDS anyways? I won't be coming back to this pathetic site, so it's just something for you to think about......

P.S. you know if you look at the lives of active LDS people - they're typically a lot happier than people like you. - 05/16/2007 - meme

I would like to know what sources you are getting your information from? Why aren't you citing your research? Are your quotes cited or made up? It's hard to know the difference when you have no sources listed.

I have a strong testimony of the integrity of President Gordon B. Hinkley. I beleive him to be a fair and righteous man. Perhaps if you spent more time reading prophet scripture and less time gossiping against the Church you would discover that the last dispensation will require work unlike any other previous era. I am a convert to the LDS Church and have found more happiness than I ever knew existed on this Earth. I wish that all the "complainers" of this world would learn to spend there valueable time working for the good of humankind rather than backbiting those who do. - 05/14/2007 - KP

You do realize that you are falling into prophecy through this web site. We expect to be picked on and made fun of, especially as it gets closer toward the time that Christ is to come again. I would love to be able to see your face when you find out that it is all really true.

I ran into this site looking for something else. After the first few paragraphes, I then scrolled down to the end here. I am not sure why people feel that they have to do this kind of thing. Every one has their free agency to think and feel however they choose, though. But why do this to something that means so much to so many people. Where along the line did you get your heart hurt? I am, however, looking forward to the looks on some of your faces when we get to the other side. Peace to your troubled soul. - 05/13/2007 - SIB

I think that this site is pathetic and all the thing that you are saying are stupid, think about it, think about you. - 05/12/2007 - greek

As an active member of the LDS faith as well as an active duty military member, I am totally disgusted with the attitudes of the people posting here. Get a girlfriend or a real job. Do something with your lives besides be the bitter, self absorbed crybabies that blame the church for all of your problems. Cant hack the demands that God has asked of us in this church? Cool. Go find one that works for you and move on with your life. I have many tattoos and plan on getting more. With some of the crap that I have seen overseas in my service, a little ink is the very least of the concerns that face our society today as a church and as members of this earth. This site is a worthless site. No matter what you try to do the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints will never be ruined. We are a strong people and we tend to stay that way . Heavenly Father will bless you for your deeds and punish those who persecute. Thank you for your time and Heavenly Father will bless you in life as you coem to do good things! - 05/10/2007 - anon

Everyone who is make up sites about what happends inside the sacret temples, will pay sooner or later. I feel sorry for all the authors of this websites and everybody who is attacking the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Good luck and hope you can repent some day. - 05/10/2007 - anon

People have their choice to attend BYU or notand everyone who attends made the decision to do so.

You appear to have a very, very, very sad life. So much hate such little time in life. Live your life, be happy and quit worrying about things that will only drag you down. This page and your hate will only effect you in a negative way. This site in no way will lift up or help anyone, it'll only brew a larger group of hate and this world doesn't need more hate. - 05/09/2007 - anon

this site is lame. you are idiots. who cares about somebody's religion. you have way too much time on your hands. if you are so concerned with informing people about issues that matter, start a website about darfur and all of the suffering going on over there. figure a way to end the war in iraq. stop trying to undermine an honest person's political aspirations. all of your stories are contrived and false. if you have an issue with the mormon church come to salt lake and talk to some of their missionaries. i hope you don't think this is funny.

you don't see any websites mocking jewish ceremonies, or catholic clergy's clothing. you are an idiot - 05/08/2007 - you moron

YOUR A WINNER, FINANCIALLY SECURE, INTELLECTUALLY SUPERIOR TO IDIOTIC EXMORMONS WHO ARE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO LEAVE THE CHURCH, AND WHO ARE PROBABLY THE VERY ONES TO SELL SHAKLEE AND EAT AT CHUCKORAMMA...

LOOK AT THE LIVES OF MORMONS, THEY ARE HAPPY, FULFILLED AND SUCCESSFULL, LOOK AT THE LIVES OF EXMORMONS, THEY ARE IN SHAMBLES, FRAUGHT WITH DESPAIR AND SADNESS.

YOU DECIDE WHICH SIDE OF THE FENCE SEEMS BETTER... MOST OF THE EXMORMONS ARE THE MOST MISERABLE LOT EVER TO HAVE POSTED ON THE INTERNET! - 05/06/2007 - ANONymous

There are two reasons why people leave the Church

1. They are offended_please see any exmo board, especially RFM

2. They've sinned and are disciplined..see Simon our "LOst Tribe" author, who committed adultery, and the many, many other exmo's who could not live the law of chastity...D. Michael Quinn, Gaymoexmo author and double tongued speaker for hire, Steve Benson, "not as good as my brother, darn it!!)(btw, not as cute either, steve's bro is a cutie .. in a brotherly sort of way:)

- 05/06/2007 - Kittywaymo Did you ever notice your hate mail is 3x the amount of you love mail? take a hint... you are the minority, and a very unhappy minority at that..

Move on from your dissappointment of not being able to live the good life of a Mormon, cut your losses, and find happiness on your own level

Just because you cannot live up to the success, joy and goodness of Mormons, why knock them? You just come across bitter, sad and pathetic. - 05/06/2007 - ANONymous

You guys need to repent. Is this how Jesus treated the Pharises by mocking them. You say you believe in Christ and try to follow him, but you mock others believes. I don't see members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints going around and mocking your believes. They don't because they actually follow the words of Christ. "treat others has you would want to be treated" and "love your neighbor like unto yourself" You guys are just hippocrites. These wicked and awful things you do will be held against you at the judgement bar, "for GOD will not be mocked". Good luck and I hope one day you release that the LDS church is the true and living church of Christ and when that day comes I pray that you repent and enter into the waters of baptism, and truly be saved...... - 05/02/2007 - Eric Sampson

Hello, my name is Adam Thomson, I am a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and this offends me, tell me, what faith are you? - 05/02/2007 - Adam

With all the wonderful things this church does for all those around the world who aren't even of the same faith, it sure would stink for you to have to call on the aid of a church you have bashed when you are in need. Mormons are there in many ways for every natural disaster. Let's hope you are not caught in any kind of disaster and have to humble yourself enough to accept their help. I also would like to remind you that members of the mormon church pray for people like you everyday. We got you covered. Ü - 05/01/2007 - HNH

do you guys know what you're doing? you're playing with the things of God and moking his chosen servants. I know they've been called of God. You'll be held accountable for everything you've done, mocking the sacred things of God... I just can't believe you're doing something like this. - 05/01/2007 - felipe fonseca

You know, you guys should pay more attention to life after death instead of wasting so much time living in the past...

just some friendly advice

BTW, the mormons don't look like they are suffering from too many meetings, if anything they must be the chosen people of God because they are a. very, very good-looking b. pretty well-educated c. oftimes wealthy and successful, and that's with 10 percent of their money donated and their time as well..

I know you think you're just being funny, and maybe some of the humor was just in good fun, but honestly, from an objective point of view, why can't ex-mormons and anti-mormons realize that talking about someone's under-garments isn't funny? Its just awkward and honsetly weird to joke about something that personal. You're trying to be so "in" and you think you're cooler than Mormons by ripping on them, but trust me, I know a lot of people from alot of religions and even ifd they think Mormons are weird, no one is weirder than an anti-mormon. Just think about it, you guys are truly the ones obsessed with Kolob and everything else, while Mormons in general are pretty normal people. The real cult is anti-mormonism. In a way you guys worship Joseph Smith and all the things you claim Mormons are worshiping. But no hard feelings, just a friendly word of advice. - 04/29/2007 - Mormon from NJ

The information posted on this sight may be enough for one to crack a smile, but it is also extremly offensive. Like racial jokes ,they may be funny, but that dosn't make them right. I hope the people who put things on here, that are not right, like the joke adds of things and peolpe our religion hold dear will think twice before doing it again. stupid and ignorant who should be sued for every penny he owns for making a book that could get his sorry butt killed. - 04/27/2007 - editor of this book

Isn't it sad and morally reprehensible when people post things that are not true, whether it be Mormonism, Catholicism, or other 'isms'. Words have meanings and consequences. I am LDS, and not once in my 54 years of activity have I heard a disparaging word spoken against another 'religion' uttered from the pulpit or the classroom. It just isn't done, nor practiced, never condoned.

Yet, isn't it interesting, however, that as Mormons, we are constantly hammered by some of our supposedly Christian friends who understand very little about what they condemn, ridicule, and profane. Yes, ignorance has it's consequences, and she displays herself shamelessly for every fair-minded soul to see.

Sad, this supposedly Christian dilemma we find ourselves in. But, though forces gather to hedge the way, (spiritually speaking) there are still 'more' that are with us, then there are with them. Saddest of all, we could/should all be gathered, together - for the sake of our God, our Families, our Nation! - 04/26/2007 - dave

you are a bunch of ignorant, rude boorish assholes - 04/25/2007 - anon

I am disappointed to see that there are so many people that are waisting their time just to undermine, bash, and criticize the Mormons and their religion. Have they really done something so terrible to you that you feel you need to spend time typing paragraphs of harsh criticism.

Cricket, did you physically go to Utah and take these pictures just to point out all of the things that you think are wrong with the religion and Joseph Smith?

Stray Mutt, with your list of negatives, how do you propose to know that these are true. If they are true I can only imagine that it is because of the all the immoral images and events that are accessible to the public.

Samuel The Utahnite, I would love to see the "Proof" that you have that show that the Book of Mormon is "bogus and a fraud".

For all of you that were once Mormons, how could you have once been spiritually strong enough to have been or become a Mormon and then feel so strongly and angry about how much wrong they have done to you and how "false" their doctrine is. Do you not remember that feeling of peace and love, knowing that the spirit of the Lord was with you. Do you not feel unsure and worried about what your life will bring with out the Lord? I hope that your hearts will be softened and that your hatred for the Mormons and the Lord will dissipate. - 04/22/2007 - What?

I was looking for something to talk on in church. I was just clicking things and found this. Have you ever been LDS, because you obviously don't know a whole lot about our religion. The one about missionaries was very amusing. I plan on going on a mission and I'm proud of that. I'm proud that I'm a mormon. Having morals is so much more appealing to me than being some depressed pot smoker, that makes 5.50 an hour working at McDonalds. But the one about Gordon B. Hinckley just pissed me off. He is the smartest and funniest old person I know. Tithing is another thing that you must not understand a whole lot about. I pay about 15% on tithing every month. If it hadn't been for that, the people in New Orleans would of been a lot worse off, but it is fair to say that I agree with the last one. It is truly the best way to spend church. - 04/21/2007 - theholyhandgrenade@hotmail.com - Nathan

Hello...so the first amendment and censorship is alive and well in anti-mormonism'sschism's...

its interesting that you guys claim the mormon church is controlling, and censoring, yet you guys have a real brand of suppressing the truth, bullying people who even part believe let alone TBM's, and putting your hands over your ears and closing your eyes and yelling "i can't hear you! i can't hear you!"

i guess that is whats meant by spiritual blindness...why be so bitter and afraid of the truth? why allow young teenagers who are tbm's to post but not allow tbm's, tbm scholars etc. to post?

as a jewish mormon i have been very offended by your anti-semetic comments, i don't mind your anti mormon comments because they're so ridiculous and full of malice. but to make fun of the jews and jewish heritage in mormonism is very much an expression of the same 30 bigots posting/blogging in the anti-mormon world...i've seen it over at rfm, mormon curtain as well. most of you haven't even been out of utah and claim "to know" all about other cultures, including mainstream mormonism. what is odd is most of you haven't been to church in years and left as rebellious teens, offended ward members or not able to bare chastisement for immorality (see d. michael quinn living a homosexual lifestyle in new orleans and trying desperately to keep his "lifestyle" out of his stake presidents' high council court) thanx for listening~ - 04/21/2007 - kittywaymo

Y'all are funny. Get a life! If you must spend your time criticizing and tearing down one man, one church, you'll never have time to get yourself right with Christ. Try to tear yourself away from this useless pursuit. You CAN move forward with your life in happiness and find whatever it is that makes you happy, rather than what makes you angry and bitter. Good luck in this totally worthwhile pursuit...your spirtual life! - 04/21/2007 - real happy mormon

You've probably invested hundreds of man hours into this project and that book of Zelph website is incredibly in depth! i can't even begin to fathom the time he's put into that. I must admit that this artical was quite amusing; appeals to what one claims as scientific evidence but lacking any sources or references. I find it simply amazing that so many people, lacking any sort of authoritative background, can so brazenly attack another church solely on their own biest opinion. Is there EVER a need to tear another's faith down? Both the Mormons and the Witnesses are so often the subject of such unfounded mistrust and dislike because they go out to SHARE what they believe. Very unlike the people who have responded to this artical. Whether or not one agrees with their teachings it should be remembered that they are trying to share something holy and scred to them. - 04/18/2007 - Laughable

If you go in with a negative attitude or even unworthy that is your own problem. You can only recieve if you are in tune. Some of the blessings are not even fullfilled in this lifetime. And like ive read in some of the other comments. i hope for your sake that you can live with the choices you make. i will tell you what i was looking for too. i was looking for pictures of the sared grove. and i came across a picture with writing on it. and i looked and was stunned to see such rude, disrepectful, and bitter messages that hurt me, and made me want to cry. if this is what you set out to achive, congradulations. you have succeded in making a vary loyal and respacful LDS cry. if that is your life ambition, to make an innocent person cry, then i suggest you take a good look in the mirror, how would you feel if you were the one being humiliated on the internet. if someone exspossed you as a fraud. it would hurt pretty bad too dont you think? i will have you know, that being a teenager, i can take a few jokes, but this is just way over the top. childish and disrepectful. - 04/14/2007 - Megan

Maybe i don't quite understand what pepole are thinking. I think both sides are messed up right now and all of you are getting into something, an argument that shouldn't be started in the first place.

I've been in and out of the church, I was born far away from any idea's of it and was actually part of a satanic church, now i belong to mormon and I know what good it can do.

Why do you all judge a religion by it's people and not it's principals. I know there are corrupt people in every church, i've met them, i know them, not everyone is perfect.

Hell (yes i said it, omg, what are we going to do, a mormon swore) your all acting like your 5. Express your beliefs and move on with life, anyone who has enough time to waste living off of confused and mixed beliefed sites like this one really have no lives.

If you hate mormons, then do it! Hate us! I don't give a damn!

Just go and live your happy anti-mormon lives and leave us alone! We've been through enough of this persicution already, we are sick of people bashing and defacing the prophets and historic people in our history. How can you judge Hinckley if you aint ever met him?

How can you judge Joseph Smith? I know very well that he had quite a number of wives, but was that not back when piligamy was part of mormon culture? So whats wrong with it? I get sick of people asking me how many mothers i have and how many of them has my father had intercourse with.

The mother fact is that I have one ONE MOTHER! I always have! And intercourse is non of your business! It's an act that is for the couple to decide if it stays between them or is spread.

You can do your childish cults and act like you know everything, but the truth is, this whole idea is a bunch of bull that you anti-mormons are pulling out of your ass just to feel like you can bash a commnunity and make yourselves look good.

Yes, I would know, I used to hate mormons.

We dont rope you in, we don't force you to do anything, our church and our beliefs are to be chosen, you have a choice. And if you choose that you hate us then do it and stop wasting your time trying to make us leave the church and believe this crap.

Because the majority of us don't care, I just love to rant and rave at idiots who think that mormonism is a thing to persicute for eternity. - 04/13/2007 - Emma

These things may be funny but they are really hurtful and you should not say theses things about these wonderful people!!! - 04/13/2007 - I go to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

I like your website you have some good things but sadly I have to stay in the real world. - 04/13/2007 - ElderAnderson23@hotmail.com

- 04/13/2007 - dave

why is it so hard to believe? seeing isn't always believing. I know that the Book of Mormon tells truth and nothing but the truth. If you read 1Nephi chap. 13. it talks about the visions Nephi about the revoloutionary war, columbus, and the pilgrims, which are things way before its time. - 04/12/2007 - Hamoa

i am a member of the church you are bashing. i found this site by accident.i am extremely offended by the mockery of things that are sacred to us, please consider canceling this page. i am also very concerned that children might see this sight what would they think about their dolls if they saw this. i was taught to turn the other cheek, but not this time, i don't know what kind of person you are, but you need to get a life , you piece of crap. and that goes to all you other idots who think this page is cool or funny you should quit reading this crap and get a life! - 04/12/2007 - butterfly

Hi.I am 16 years old daughter of god and member of the church of jesus christ of latter-day saints, and i just want to say how sorry i feel for you.For your stiffneckedness and your hardend hearts. If your hearts were not hardened and neck stiff with pride you would be able to see the truth of the church, and not be as Laman and Lemuel were.I KNOW without a doubt that this church is TRUE,and that the book of mormon is the word of God and that it was translated by Joseph Smith who was and is a TRUE prophet of god,and that Gordon B. Hinckley is a TRUE prophet of god in our latter days.I know Jesus Chirst bleed and died for us so that we recieve the fullness of the atonement sothat we may live again with our father in heaven and his son Jesus Christ!I know that families are forever, and am so grateful to have the plan of salvation,so i can live with them for all eternity, and with my future husband.

It makes me sad that you put so much time and effort in trying to deystroy something so wonderful.I pray and hope that you will come back and find enlightenment again. The church does so MANY wonderful service acts, and we dont do it to be recognized. We do it because "charity never failith,"because we care about our fellow men and wish for their well being and happiness. We dont bash and trash others churchs and beliefs. We do not send our young sons, brothers, grandsons, nephews, and friends to preach a false church and serve god for two years, which they PAY for themselves.I KNOW that if you truly read the Book of Mormon and prayed and really wanted to KNOW if it was true, you would recieve an answer, and know that IT IS TRUE.

All I can guess is you must have been a VALIANT spirit in the predisponsation because YOU came HERE,to RECIEVE a beautiful mortal BODY to show your valiancy to god,be baptized, recieve a beautiful family, and to gain a tesimony of the church from your trials. I KNOW that YOU must be an AMAZING son/daughter of god because satan has obviously tried, and succeed in your fall from the church. Why would he work so hard on you if you weren't? I hope that you will come back to the church, see the truth, peace, and love that is there and that god has for us.I KNOW that if you come back and obey the commandments, and the words of the prophet, and live a righteous life that you can have all of the blessings that are promised, and know what true joy and happinees are.Isn't it easier to be righteous more than it is live in sin?I think it is.

I KNOW that you may not appreciate the things I have said, and my testimony, but I KNOW in MY HEART that those things which I said ARE TRUE,and you can't tell me otherwise with your saddening attempts to bring down the church. This IS GODS CHURCH and it will live on and continue to strive without you,but I HOPE and PRAY that you will come back, because I think it will be a sad day when my fellow men will be judged according to their works.NO IM NOT PERFECT,but I try as hard as I can, because I KNOW what it feels like to be weighed down with sin,and then have it lifted up with the power of the Atonement, and I CAN HONESTLY SAY THE CLEAN SLATE FEELING FEELS LIKE HEAVEN!

If anyone really wants to find about the church, find your local LDS church and ask if missionaries can be sent to your house.I PROMISE you wont regret it.And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ.Amen. - 04/12/2007 - EraLeigh

Wow! You guys are really nasty. Can't you say a person is wrong without ridicule and name calling? This is hardly the way Christians behave. - 04/10/2007 - Baseballgeezer

Don't you have anything better to do then to attempt to destroy - which of course, you never will. Your ignorance and cruelty are duly noted...and you put the holocost to shame. Congratulations! - 04/10/2007 - swagit

Why do you attack mormons if they don't do what you say they do, they are not evil, let me ask you are they attacking you, I believe they are not so why are you doing this? - 04/09/2007 - NOcomprendoporque

I read much of this site and am moved by the hatred that is expressed here for the LDS church. Some anti-Mormon site state that they are trying to win back the lost Mormon souls but this place is just pure animosity towards the LDS faith. And then I read the testimony of Andy Burnett. His simple expression of faith caused me to feel that ever-familiar peace of the Holy Ghost. A scripture came to mind; John 15:26 - But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me.

Thank you Andy for you testimony. I too, know that Jesus is the Christ and He atoned for our sins and through him we may be made perfect and return to our Father. I know that Joseph Smith was called of God to usher in this last dispensation as the prophet who was to restore the gospel under the direction of Christ. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book of scripture and contains the fullness of the gospel, which is Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God and our Redeemer. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only church established under the direction of Christ for the fulfilling of prophecy and the preparation of His second coming. And all this I know because I have prayed to know if these things are not true, having faith that the Comforter would reveal God's truth to me and He did. It is true. No power on earth can stop Christ's Holy work, not even this disgruntled website. - 04/06/2007 - Aaron

Boy, one day, you are going to feel mighty funny, when you realize that the "mormon" faith is true. I feel sorry for you. I hope one day you will be baptized to the true church. - 04/05/2007 - Kellie

What makes a man create such a hate for the Latter-Day-Saints and not for any other religion. Its because the devil does not care about the others, and goes after the Mormons because he knows Latter-Day-Saints and the Book of Morman to be True. I just want to leave my testimony too that I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is lead by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ through His prophet Gordon B Hinckley, that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that it was translated through the power of God by Jospeh Smith Jr. I cannot begin to describe the peace and joy that i have in my life from the knowledge of these simple truths .The best thing about it is that anyone can can be blessed with the knowledge of these simple yet powerful principles when they sincerley want to know where did i come from? why am i here? and what happens to me when i die?. Sincerley ask these questions and i know that you will recieve the answers. Please stop wasting time and energy writing all these negative things life is too short to focus on them, plus all this anti-mormonism stuff takes ages to sort through when i'm trying find the REAL stuff. - 03/31/2007 - David Chapman

hi, some of your apostate stuff was actually humorous, much like southpark is also humorous. however, i will have to disagree with an entity such as your organisation whose soul purpose is to destroy and tear down belief. i've noticed that you haven't spent much time proclaiming your beliefs. is it because you don't really have much to present? you mentioned that lds people should be loving and yet you receive this supposed hate mail from these so called loving mormons. i honestly can't say that i hate you. i don't know you personally so it's kind of hard to hate somebody whom i've never met. i don't particularly care for your style nor for your society, but ex-mormon apostates are a dime a dozen and it's not like i haven't encountered such before. you're smug to belittle others, weak in the presentation of your own beliefs. whenever i have found individuals and organisations that belittle my religion i simply invite them to explain theirs to me. with due respect to others, i haven't found anything to compare to "mormonism". there are true doctines in many, if not all faiths for which i'm appreciative. however, through study, prayer and applied principles i have come to the solid conclusion that "mormonism" is where it's at and intend on sticking with it. thank you for the mockery. such behavior is typical of apostates. you've simply managed to put an updated spin on things. i'm also aware that sometimes people create things that are so outrageous they intend on getting response through shock value. well, you have put a lot of work into creating a nice lure. i would disagree with those that say you must know very little about mormonism. however, many disagree who are well studied and have a great knowledge pertaining to the lds faith. again, that's not anything new either. i've always felt that a foundation of testimony is something that is based on truth and honesty, on sincerity and good works. it's a rather simple formula for non-biased people to follow. i have no doubt that the vast majority of the members of your society were once active members of the lds church. some of you probably left over tenets that you couldn't find explainable. others probably never really saw the point to religion, or at least organised religion. others probably fell victim to the chant that "all mormons are hypocrites" and still others of your said society probably have a strong amount of spiritual cholestorol (aka "sin") pumping through your veins and never felt or never quite recognized the spirit when it was so readily available for the taking. anyway, i wish you a pleasant day. some of your jokes, albeit degrading and rude, were pretty funny. it's just unfortunate that you now find yourselves on the wrong side of the equation. of course, you can always repent and come back. you wouldn't be the first anti- mormon and/or apostate to do so. thanks. - 03/16/2007 - shoegazer 100

Been a member for 43 years and love the church, the culture and the people. Amazing that Satan controls so many---why he'll do nothing for them. - 02/25/2007 - Jean

I am a Latter-Day Saint and as I read this I came to one conclusion. You go to church and say that its annoying and that their beliefs are baloney or whatever your saying. But you know what is funny. Church is not about you and the other people. Its a bout you and God. Our beliefs are strong and true. Many non- LDS look up to us for our values, even though they don't fully understand us. I am certainly not perfect, I am only 16 years old for that matter. But I have been a member of this church since birtha and I know that this is the true church. You speak so many negative things only because you want to justify your wrong actions. You all want to partcipate in wordly things that lead to sin. You find the church principles annoying because they go against your idea of fun. If you wanted to you could make church fun. You put up these stories to detract from the good image of the church. You try to encourage others to see bad things in the church. If that was not your purpose then I aplogize for my accusations, maybe your just making people aware of what you've heard from people so that they can draw their own conclusions. But if you are trying to hurt us intentionally then I have something to tell you. You're not hurting us, we know what is true and what is right. It is yourself you are ultimately hurting. Joseph Smith reestablished this church on the earth for a reason. It was God's will. I have seen many miracles in my lifetime and its been pretty short. That could not have just been accredited to coincidence. i know that it is all p to God. I have asked on many occasions for God to show me the way and to show me for myself if this is really the true church. I have gone through many things in my life including depression and being vulnerable to many other things but I a still alive and succeding in life. I know my values and what I believe in. I know that God exists and that he loves us and wants the best for us. You may ask why we go through so much trials in life. If we didnt go through trials then we wouldnt be strong and we wouldnt be able to withstand the persecution that comes with being LDS and we wouldnt know what we believe in. We would be weak individuals, we would fall to sin so easily. Trials make us into what we need to be in life. I love you all despite what you say about us. We all love you, you are our brothers and sisters. God's love is a greater love. The devil knows nothing of love, just jealousy and torture. His way leads to unhappiness and death. God leads towards the light. You may say that I'm only 16 what do I know. But guess what, And I said this to a friend of mine last night jokingly but now i'm saying it seriously to you. "Wisdom does not come through age but what you experience and overcome in life". I have experienced alot and I know for a fat that I am living in truth. I am happy despite the fact that I am depressed and feel alone most of the time. But I am not alone in my lonliness. The Holy Spirit resides with me and it does the same with you. You just need to listen to the still small voice. God loves you, I love you, we all love you...but you need to learn to love yourself. - 02/24/2007 - Phoenixfire

this is fake... you have no soul dont make fun of mormons that is what I call jealousy.. Embrace the truth - 02/22/2007 - anon

What once was something sacred has become a joke to you. I have to give you credit for posting President's Hinkley's comments about South Park. It drives the nail in your "spiritual coffin". For it speaks of conspiring men (that being yourself) who seek to mock. It always amazing me that the highest group of anti-mormon literature, websites, ect. come from excommunicated or disgruntled/inactive mormons. I too have fell in this category so I feel I can defend what I'm saying. I grew up in the church. An apple that didn't fall far from the tree so to speak. I did/said all the right things. The text book good mormon girl. Then "Mr. Wonderful' left me and the kids, married the other woman and she joined the church. Well isn't that special! I was angry and embittered at the hypocrisy. Then, I realized that people are human. The ultimate judge will have his say in the end. Whether some one is straight, gay, or what ever race creed and religiion they are, we need to learn tolereance. I do not waste my time in anti-mormon sentiments. I know that I made my mistakes and I look forward to a day when I will have the opportunity to remarry and find someone who will truly honor his priesthood. I did not write this to antagonize anyone. I figured since you had this website you would welcome all opinions. I hope that whatever has made you so angry or bitter toward the church will soften. I spent a lot of wasted years faultering through life and being self-destructive. I wish you the best. - 02/18/2007 - anon

I believe most of this is blown way out of proportion. There are alot of meetings but if something is going to function and be organized, meetings are how it's done. I'm glad I am a part of something that is organized rather than belong to a church i only have to attend once a year or pay a few dollars for everything bad I have done. God created this world and he is my Heavenly Father the least I can do in return is serve him. - 02/18/2007 - anon

- 02/18/2007 - Angel vengador

I just did the same thing--resaerched humanitarian aid for the LDS church and found this site. Amazing but understandable lack of information on exactly what the LDS church is all about. The teaching and redeeming work for the living and the dead within the LDS temples are vital, just as missionary work and humanitarian efforts in which the LDS church are actively engaged. I believe the LDS doctrine teaches that the spiritual welfare of every man, woman and child is just as important as their physical welfare. No one has mentioned that the clergy of the LDS church is unpaid. This sets the LDS church apart from other religious organizations, which means assets DO NOT line their clergy pockets. The successful investing of the LDS church is due to the wisdom and inspiration of those who know that this church will not fail. It has an important message for the world and will continue to grow and spread truth and humanitarian and spiritual relief until the return of Jesus Christ, who stands at the head of this church forever. - 02/17/2007 - anon

I Can't even believe all this crap!!! You guys need to get a life, seriously, i've never seen anybody try to ruins somebodies life just to make theirs happy. Just because Mitt Romney is a mormon doesn't make him a bad person. next time you buy a dell computer, just remember that the a former CEO there is a mormon. Mormons are probably the nicest people you know. Did christ not say "love your neighbor as yourself?" Seriously, you need to get a life and not let satan takeover your life with anger. - 02/16/2007 - Mormon Missionary

There is a reason for so much overt hatred of a woman (Sheri Dew) who has dedicated her life in service to the lord.

Those who are living lives in which they know are incorrect are always highly critical, insulted and incensed by people who know the truth and live it.

Very sad. - - 02/15/2007 - Andria

parece que alguien tiene serios problemas con el sexo...que pena. Desapruebo francamente su pagina y los compadesco por que es obvio que les falta sexo, prueben un poco del real, es bueno... saludos, Paola - 02/14/2007 - paola

I'm so, so very sorry for each of you. Sheri Dew is a magnificent and lovely human being. She has suffered so much about not being married. I think it's absolutely cruel to take such a wholesome and genuine person, who consistently does her very best to do what is right, and drag her name in the mud and the gutter of gossip. You simply do not understand. I'm so sorry. - 02/09/2007 - 4181986

Why would you waste all you time making rude comments about such good people. I feel very sorry for you and the anger and hatred you have for mormons. - 02/07/2007 - anon

Don't you people have better things to do with your lives and time than write all of this crap? - 02/08/2007 - anon

It makes me sad that you all had bad experiences with the church, or the people in the church. It makes me sad that you were not given the treatment you thought you should have had. We are all just trying to do what is right and if for some people it is belonging the the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints then let them be. YOu twist things around, take things to offense when in fact people were just trying to help you. If you choose not to be religious then I am sorry. I wish all of you that felt you had to put down an institution of God would have thought better. The Church is perfect as God made it even if the members are not. What you were offended by was not the church it was people saying or being stupid. I hope someday you find a way to not be bitter. Good Luck from someone who knew what life was like before the church and now. - 02/03/2007 - bewildered

I am lds, and I know that will make alot of you just skip me over, but I was really sad when I saw this page. I think it's sad that you've had such bad enconters with LDS members. Just keep and open mind that we aren't all the same way. I do have an open mind and I hope you will too. Just because you've been hurt doesn't mean you should hurt others. "An eye for an eye only makes the whole world blind." Yeah that's Ghandi by the way not an apostle so keep an open mind. - 02/02/2007 - danigirl

you lead a very sad life -- your arguments would be believable if they weren't so harsh. Instead you give Mitt credibility by being so adimitaly opposed to him. - 02/01/2007 - me

There's nothing like a true anti-religion page to show off True-Loving Christianity! Shame on you. Do you really feel your faith bashing is better than the religion you desecrate? Desecrating religion - ANY RELIGION - is an activity of the devil. Authors like you spawn the idea that if Jesus were to return today and see all the fanatacism built up in the name of Christianity, he would declare "I am not a Christian". If candidate Romney spawns such vehement opposition by those so opposed to God and the faith of others, perhaps he is a candidate I should seriously consider giving my support. If the devil doesn't want him, I do. VOTE FOR ROMNEY~ - 02/01/2007 - Dave from Jersey

You are so ignorant. I have never met an intelligent, logical person who has left the Mormon church. I have done extensive research in mormon history, polygamy, book of mormon geography, and I have heard all of the cries and arguments of the anti-mormons. Joseph Smith nailed everything. He was right on, and I haven't heard a single argument from an anti-mormon that holds water. It is often based more on blind passion and rage than logic. It's not even worth talking to them half the time, because they do not listen to reason.

Concerning the temple ceremony, which this site attempts to mock, Joseph Smith nailed it on that too. If you were intelligent enough to do some research on ancient temples and temple ceremonies, you would see that Joseph Smith was right. Joseph Smith once said that one day all science and learning would prove that he was right, and it is! - 02/01/2007 - Saint Peter

Who ever made this site is very childish, and by no means is "right in the head." - 01/30/2007 - Colby

I forgive you for you know not what you do. - 01/28/2007 - anon

This is very disrespectful. We worship Jesus Christ not Joseph Smith. Do you tear down others faith to make yourself feel better? - 01/26/2007 -

Fools mock but they shall morn,

All ye who persecute the humble followers of Christ. And mock his church, and persecute the meek with yor venom. Be ye therefore laid low.

Satan I comand you in the name of the holy one, Jesus Christ the Master, the Almighty God of heaven and earth. Come out of them, be smitten and be destroyed. Come out now, this instant. By the authority, and in the name of Jesus Christ. In the name of Jesus Christ amen. - 01/24/2007 - steve

I think that this is VERY distasteful! I am sorry that I have stumbled apon this site!! I LOVE my religion and I think that it is foolish to parade around such sacred things as you have here! The temple is a sacred place and also the things within it! - 01/20/2007 - anon

As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day saints I agree with Vaughn Featherstone. My testimony is based on a spiritual witness of God's omnipotence and the Church being an expression of his will; I let the details fall where they will. Like Elder Featherstone it just doesn't trouble me that we can't account for the curiosities and unexplained mysteries associated with the Church's history.

One of my favorite scriptures is found in the Old Testament Book of Isaiah: "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts." (Isaiah 55:8-9)

This suggests to me that from our mortal standpoint all sorts of curiosities, mysteries and inexplicable marvels probably exist in the mind and will of God. If you're disturbed by the curiosities of the early Mormon church you'd probably howl in disbelief were you to learn the mind and will of God.

I believe that none of us--you, me or the antichrist--can stand in the way of God's will. To see who's right we'll just have to let the events unfold for themselves. It is hard to see how the name-calling, tirades, vulgarities and obscenities on this site will help make the world a better place. But your free speech is as important as my free speech and so I wish you well. - 01/21/2007 - Kevin

I just stumbled across your web site. One correction. In your response to the FAQ question about why don't you just leave the Mormons alone, you respond "because they won't leave us alone." C'mon guys. We in the Church actually do have better things to do. Buy a stamp. Stick it on a 3X5 card with a signed note saying you want your name removed...and voila. Problem solved. Then we in God's Church can concentrate our resources where they'd do the most good and you'd never get bothered again. I've seen it work. It's like magic. A definite win-win situation. So...I can't really buy your "can't be left alone" whine. Could it be rather that you're bitter, snide, and condescending and believe it's fun to think you're just a bit smarter than your parents were? It's ego, bluster and bile that seems to keep you going, not the poor victimization ploy. At least be honest! Just admit it--it's fun to be arrogant! Frankly, if you're that far gone, why don't you just go? There are so many things to mock out there, I'm sure you'll find work. Think of the unkicked puppies, and turtles waiting to be turned on their backs! Meanwhile, I'll take a faithful church goer--of any stripe--over a bitter, vitriolic, condescending dufus any day of the week. - 01/21/2007 - WGA

Top ten reasons why The Salamander Society web website was made

by jd - 01/17/2007

10. The gay bar burned down and I was board.

9. By focusing my hate on Mormons I can forget that I'm pathetic.

8. I'm angry, and I don't want to admit it's because I wasn't breastfed as a child.

7. My friends ditched me for the nerd down the street.

6. Even though our world is overrun with murders, suicides, paedofiles, rapists and thieves, I thought it would be good to focus my hate on the REAL problems in America.

5. I wanted to be a Mormon hater too. Look at me every one! I hate Mormons!

4. Even though everything Mormons practice is in the Bible, that doesn't mean you should practice it!

3. I'm tired of the Mormons saying there is one true church when it's obvious that the body of Christ is 30,000 different churches that disagree with one another.

2. No matter what church I join, the Mormons make me look bad.

1. I ran out of room for anti-Mormon bumperstickers on my car.

This website reminds me of divorce. A couple ends up spending the same amount of their energy as they were in their marriage (or more), hating eachother afterwards.

Get over your weaknesses and anxieties and do something productive with your life. I hate to see anyone put so much effort in to hating or bashing a faith. I have my own religious beliefs, and respect others for theirs. - 01/17/2007 - anon

salamandersociety, i'd just like you to answer one question honestly. Who is Jesus Christ to you? - 01/16/2007 - DH

I am LDS and we DO lots of things that others consider weird. For example, we worship Joseph smith. My bishop would say otherwise, but it is true.

In church we almost never talk about Christ. Also, we are encouraged to read only church approved materials. If we see a book about LDS history, we should check with our leaders before we read it because it might not be faith promoting.

The temple is a bizarre experience. I had to pretend like I was slitting my belly and my throat before revealing secrets of the temple.

So, yep, just about anything you say about us that is weird will have a lot of truth in it.

BUT, I know the church is true. Here's why: Joseph Smith said that if you read the Book of Mormon and pray for a witness you will know it is true. So I did and I got a good feeling about it, which I know is the Lord telling me that it is true. If you prayed about it, you would know the same thing.

So even though we have a lot of weird stuff in our church, it is the only true church on earth. If you look carefully at any religion, you will find things that are equally as weird, such as the catholic priests wearing long robes, believing that the Pope is infallible, eating the body of Christ.

So go ahead and blast us. This piece you did has a lot of truth in it as I said, but just because something looks weird from the outside, does not mean it is not true.

Also, the plates we taken back to heaven, so it is impossible to actually show them to you. So you MUST pray to god to know the church is true, which it obviously is.

People like you who cannot even reason something out make me sick. YEAH for LDS!!! - 01/11/2007 - Emma Anderson

i am very unhappy with this and it is unbeliveable that people to this kinds of stuff you should be ashamed of yourself - 01/11/2007 - anon

You guys ar fags.... this site is pointless and i have a friend thats mormon and its not funny to pick on the people who would do anything for ya... this site is gayyyyyyyyyyyyyy. - 01/11/2007 - Holla

There is certainly much that passes in human experience as lessons to the wise. There is much of human interaction that is hurtful to others - wittingly or otherwise. Circumstances in any religion will inevitably bear casualties of their faith as a consequence of human foibles and hypocracy. It is sad to see such venom arise from disillusionments better healed and forgotten. While the scenarios represented on this site may (or may not) be true, is it worth getting all worked up over human stupidity, and to defame others in malicious diatribes - or to accuse from wounds of hatred? All people are imperfect, and most prove it regularly. We just have to do the best we can to learn to live at peace one with another, and to allow patience with others' shortcomings (and foreign beliefs) form our dealings with our fellow human beings. Nothing is really gained by venting these hateful things - even insofar as they may be true. The human body is not pornographic by nature (even undraped) - it is only when designing persons abuse it for pernicious purposes that it may become vile. Be at peace with others. Don't be so easily excited by little things. Make Loving part of your Living. Forgive the foolish, and let your heart be at rest. - 01/11/2007 - Marc

Who are YOU to judge different religions?? It doesn't make any sense to waste time critisizing others! If you dislike "Mormonism" so much, then it would make more sense for you simply to live your lives seperate from those of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints! It's not that you are degrading this particular religion that bothers me so much, it's just the total and complete intollerance for others that I see that makes me sick. - 01/11/2007 - W. T. F????

You sound like a bitter ex-mormon who was excommunicated for doing unholy things. You may think this website is funny, but it nothing more than a childish way to seek revenge. Which, by the way, isn't working. You should have better things to do with your time than to think of such horrible, disrespectful things to write. The Lord will not be mocked! - 01/11/2007 - active mormon

I hate to break it to you folks, but "bulk" baptisms (as they are so deemed in this work) do not exist in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints... There are baptisms for the dead, however, they are performed for family members of Latter- Day Saints. When they are baptized (the cartoon illustration above is completely incorrect) their name is said, just as when a living person is baptized. And those who are baptized can choose to accept it or not, and it's really their decesion... Get your facts straight before you wish to critisize things that you apparently know little (or nothing) about.

Thank- you Char. GET IT RIGHT - 01/11/2007

Kudos to all of you pathetic enough to waste your time thinking of acronyms that belittle a religion that so many find of such importance. Why don't you turn off your computers and go find something somewhat productive to do with your ridiculous lives! - 01/11/2007 - Disgusted

This all makes me much more interested in learning about Mormonism. Anything so sanctimoniously denigrating to anyone or anything else (especially when written so shallowly), is simply not credible. Likewise, my perception of Romney as a viable presidential candidate is only enhanced. No way could he have accomplished all he has, if any word you have written is true. I guess that is why his is a life time of achievement, while your time and life energy is wasted whining and complaining about things you really probably know very little about. - 01/11/2007 - Patience

You are all very sad. Maybe you could all just live your lives and let others live theirs. - 01/11/2007 - viva

Well I hope you're having fun with this sad, wasted endeavor! It may be somewhat funny, and I like humor even about me as much as the next guy. Just too bad you can't find something better and less bitter to do with your time. There are so many worthwhile causes and needy people in our slippery-sloped world today! So just ask yourself if you are part of the solution, or part of the problem? And also how many people have I really helped lately? Regardless of doctrinal beliefs, the Church does help millions of people in humanitarian non-religious pursuits. So why waste your time tearing down something that is basically good, even if not your "cup of tea" or if imperfect? Whats the point? Get a life and a clue! - 01/11/2007 - Not Lost

Lest we forget that people are human. We make mistakes and can become missguided. People tend to put various church leaders on pedestils of perfection without reason. I beleive it's safe to saythat just about every religion has had a leader or two with some blemishes. One's relationship with God is an intimate one and relies on faith. Yes I am a mormon, yes I still beleive. Regardless of what any individual's mistakes are the principles hold true for me. The gospel is perfect the members are not. - 01/11/2007 - K250

I am deeply sorrowful at the comments and pictures put here. I support your right to choose the candidate that you feel would be the best for this country. However I am very sad that you choose to use a method that only demeans yourself, and makes you look ignorant to any one that knows any real facts about Mormonism. I fear that you are using Junior high tactics when you could be putting your efforts towards building up what you believe in instead of tearing down others faith. Without faith mankind would collapse. It is what keeps us going and what causes us to give charity and kindness to others. I know you will laugh at my meekness- but I also know that you confuse meakness with weakness. It is much harder to be meek in the face of adversity than it is to be offensive and misleading. I encourage you to do the right thing and stand for what you believe in- with out tearing down others faith. Thank you for your time. - 01/11/2007 - anon

It will all come back to you in the end. It is how it works, You treat people like this now, it will slam you in teh face. Maybe not now, maybe not tomorrow, but it WILL happen. You should all be sorry and do whatever you can do to be forgiven. - 01/11/2007 - anon
